Dutton is one of the most sought after sires in the world. Garglen purchased the international semen rights in 2019, so it has been a long four years waiting for saleable progeny, but well worth the wait. Dutton is without doubt one of if not the most genetically strong sires that has ever been used in the history of Garglen. A big statement, but the proof is in the progeny. Vigorous from birth, Dutton calves power on, producing top weight gains from weaning and they never look back. We credit this to their "sensible" disposition among other things. Every calf, no matter the breeding of the dam, is stamped by this mighty sire. From their powerful heads through to their impressive body shape, muscle development, correct structure and very clean underlines, Dutton progeny are impressive from birth. 

What is there to say about Mr. V8 Noble 458/7 that any Brahman Breeder around the world doesn't already know. His success as an outstanding sire is well documented. Noble progeny however continue to carry on the legacy this great bull is leaving behind him in Brahman herds around the world. The growth pattern and general correctness of the young bulls presented at this sale are indicative of a true Noble son. You will notice the uniformity of the Noble and Dutton (son of Noble) sons in this line up. Isn't that what we want to breed as cattleman - long, strong and uniform - a sign of true genetic strength. 

Purchased in partnership with Garglen & Carinya Brahman Stud, Willtony Blundstone 1031 (PS), has been a milestone sire for both herds. He is a big, long sirey type, producing robust calves that will carry on the job. Blundstone is just a great "doer". He dominates his females as a bull should, is a great calf getter, but still comes in after the season looking great. He can maintain his mature weight of around the tonne quite easily. Blundstone's male progeny have realised exceptional averages for both studs at auction. Females are almost 100% retention for herd use, as they are just so versatile in any mating program. Blundstone daughters have found the place as donor females at both Carinya and Garglen. At 10 years of age, the old fella has not missed a season yet and joins 60-80 females quite easily. Longevity is in his genes. 

Garglen Leroy is a son of the very successful sire, Willtony Blundstone 1031 (PS). Blundstone progeny have been outstanding with almost 100% retention of females, with the very best joining our elite Donor group. Sons of Blundstone that have sold over the previous 3 years at auction have realised a very impressive average of just over $60,000. Leroy was lightly used at Garglen prior to sale in 2021 at RBWS to Kenilworth Brahmans for $100,000. Leroy proved to be very active and fertile with a 98% conception rate. Mostly polled, with great broad heads, his progeny have fed well and are most presentable with great muscle definition, soft skin and just that instant eye catching appeal. 

Carinya Kirkwood is an Australian bred sire that is known all around the world. Have you ever seen a better head on a Brahman Bull? As our wise old fathers taught us, "If the head is good, the rest will follow". Truer words never spoken. Kirkwood progeny, no matter what herd they come from, are all equally impressive. The thickness of body, amount of meat and muscle, structural correctness and great disposition make Carinya Kirkwood progeny a "must see". Put a tick beside these lots. They will not disappoint. 

NCC El Toro was used extensively in IVF and ET programs at Garglen. Progeny have been of a consistent high standard and male progeny have performed well at auction sales. El Toro progeny have it all as far as growth pattern, ability to lay down muscle on meat and general instant eye appeal. Female progeny are very versatile for matings and any bred at Garglen will remain in our herd for may years to come. 

NCC Eton has been a real surprise package in our breeding program. A son of JDH Jene, he is a moderate growth bull that produced better than himself, even though he was the complete package, genomically and phenotypically. Progeny are absolute meat machines, covered in a beautiful soft loose skin. Female progeny are so useful in the herd. Just great all-round females that never fail to produce a line of exceptional calves within their breeding group. The first son of Eton offered by Garglen sold at RBWS for $70,000. Be sure to inspect his sons at the Carinya Garglen sale. 

NCC Bankroll displays all the characteristics of a Carinya Kirkwood son that the Brahman industry has become accustomed to. That impressive head is what grabs your attention immediately, then follows through to the perfect body shape, standing on good structure and terrific bone to support the amount of meat and muscle that these young bulls display. Bankroll was purchased in 2020 and these are his first progeny offered for sale. They will not disappoint and will be an asset in any breeding operation seeking a strong industry relevant sire. 

NCC Freeport was also purchased at the NCC sale in 2020, and these are his first progeny to be offered for sale by Garglen. He is a great "allrounder". Strong heads, standing on good bone, there is plenty of meat and muscle in these young bulls. Phenotypically, Freeport is very correct. the calves are docile in natutre and of low birthweight. He has been a fantastic sire to join to maiden heifers and we expect his progeny to be the same. Unfortunately, we lost Freeport in February 2023 so we will definitely be retaining his female progeny for in herd use. 

Encino is a son of JDH Hawk 666/5 and is out of a JDH Atlas bred female. He sports a double cross of the world renowned JDH Charley, just 3 generations back. Talk about an impressive pedigree. Sons of Encino will be instantly recognizable at the Carinya Garglen Sale. Encino bred progeny has been well sort after in the auction ring for some years now and we consider him to be a "timeless" Sire as his progeny continues to impress and find their place in our breeding herd or the sale pen, year after year. If it is beef, bone, breed character and a great temperament that you want in your breeding program, then young sires by this great bull will fit the bill. 

Sugarwood needs no introduction to the Australian Brahman world, having consistently sired high money earning progeny thus far. He breeds the bone, thickness and scale into his calves, not to mention their temperaments. Sugarwood and his progeny to date have high libidos and are real calf getters. Carinya has retained a number of Sugarwood sires such as Carinya Boynewood (Sire of Carinya Wickham sold for $110,000) and Carinya Lockwood (Sire of Carinya J Ladbroke-It - $130,000 & Carinya Milwaukee - $105,000). Sugarwood’s sons and grandsons have caught the eye of renowned brahman breeders. The very first polled Sugarwood calf, Carinya M Hollywood (out of a Wiltony Blundstone daughter) has been retained for our own use also.  

 A retained sire by the incredible Wiltony Blundstone and a full brother to Carinya M Tombstone. Both of these sires were kept as we believe they are an incredible representation of Blundstone, but more so because of the strength of their mother. Carinya M Jacqueline is an incredibly functional and fertile cow. Ariat stamps his calves with the consistency the Carinya cattle are known for. We can't fault the polled heads on them, nor the muscle and thickness. Ariat is a sire from tip to tail and incredibly active. Structurally he is very strong and even in a dry season he keeps his condition. The Carinya Garglen Sale 2024 is your chance to get your hands on the first crop of calves by Ariat.  

Tombstone is the first retained Blundstone son, kept because of the strength of his mother. We have been so impressed with his dam, Carinya M 617 that we have kept the first two natural bull calves out of her. Tombstone, like his sire is large framed with a tonne of bone. His progeny is proving to show the same great traits as their father and grandfather alike, with the added bonus of majority being polled.

Databank was imported from the USA in 2002 and has been an incredible driving force behind the success in the Carinya herd – particularly through his daughters. His female progeny consists of some of the best donor cows at Carinya with their perfect udders, incredible fertility rates and longevity just a bonus on top of their overall type. Carinya still has Databank semen and are still using it to this day.  

Brigadier is a large framed, up standing bull that breeds a solid phenotype into his calves, and stamps a beautiful head on them every time. Over our polled cows he has done an exceptional job. He is a full brother to another sire we purchased called NCC Brewster, by the world renowned Massai. We have retained and are using a large amount of females by Brigadier due to their femininity and phenotype.
